TRISTAN (Trish)
Story: untitled
Age: 21
Trish has been ridiculed by his peers his whole life for his effeminate demeanor and high-pitched voice. He has low confidence in himself, and precious few people have ever shown him meaningful affection.
When he was young, his mother left his father (who she was supposedly oh-so-in love with) and won Trish in a custody battle. She remarried to a chauvinistic baseball player, and they had a son. Trish still lives with his mother, stepfather, and half-brother (age 18). His mother, even though she won custody of him, began to harbor bitter feelings towards him because as he grew older he became more alike to his father.
He likes to sing, but he'd never consider himself good enough to sing for a profession and doesn't even sing in front of people.
He tried to go to university, but dropped out when he couldn't find a direction to go in.
He meets Jason by chance, and they become friends. They grow very close, and Trish starts to rely on Jason to feel free from his sticky home situation and for comfort.
As he grows more attached to Jason, he starts to feel attracted to him as well. He doesn’t talk about it or barely even think about it himself; it starts out mostly subconscious. So he gets frustrated that Jason doesn’t respond to his advances, even though he doesn’t necessarily realize he is making those advances in the first place, which leaves him confused as to why he’s so frustrated all the time.
