Story: Soul's Circus
Joshua is rash and headstrong, and he likes to impress people, but as he spends time lamenting the loss of his sister due to his own incompetence, he becomes more introspective and quiet. His energetic self is sparked more after he makes friends with his first roommates, Yoska and Andie, as well as when he is around Stefan. He is one of the few people involved in Stefan's private life, and is thus one of the few to experience Stefan's childish and mercurial side. He can't stand being out of the loop, so he gets upset when he feels Stefan is keeping secrets from him. he often goes out of his way to disobey Stefan just because he is so suspicious of the man.
He was given a mirror by Amun when he first arrived that allows him to see what his heart truly desires to see. He uses it to check on his sister, and he gets obsessed with it. It's also how he keeps from forgetting how he came to the circus in the first place.
Molly
Age: 9
She adores her big brother Joshua and strives to be like him in every way. She copies his sardonic sense of humor, repeats things he says, and brags about him to everyone. They are very close. After Joshua dies in her place, she has a very hard time getting over it. Her whole personality seems disrupted after that accident, and it upsets Joshua to watch this happen to his sister.
