There isn't much I can do to explain Kaimei. He is an irrational and messed up personality, so it's not something I can easily describe with words. But I'll try. ^^;
He never talks about his young life, but whatever happened, he has grown into an egotistical, manipulative, power-hungry man. He fancies himself an artist, a photographer, but his art is shallow. He mainly pursues photography because of the aura one has when carrying an expensive, shiny camera around.
He is mercurial and impossible to predict. One minute he seems understanding and cordial, the next he is flying off the handle. It makes people respect him out of fear, and he thrives on this ill-gained respect. This unpredictability is one of the ways he keeps Jun under his control.
His relationship with Jun started well enough, with him promising to stay faithful and help Jun stay faithful as well. He promised to be Jun’s “missing half”. Eventually though, he started to become jealous and overbearing. In the end, he always naturally gravitates towards people he can control.
