R.K is known by many names by different people. Among those close to her, she is called “that radio kid” (Gavan), Commander (Graziana), Ms. Rook (Klaus), and R.K by pretty much everyone else. She wasn’t always the leader of the geurrilla movement. They found her, a young girl wearing a local mid-level high school’s uniform, after she completely hijacked their radios and facilities. After that, she took control of their operation and led them to a large period of growth and success. Her abilities seem superhuman, and many in the geurrilla group believe her to be an agent of a higher power. She is revered among her comrades. Her inner circle consists of Graziana, Gavan, and Klaus. Even though they are her most trusted, she still keeps many secrets from them.
She acknowledges that there will always be those humans who try to be above others, but believes this is an endless cycle of separation and equalization. People build up, then fall down to baseline again. Because of this, she believes her movement is an integral part of this process. She wears her mask so she is seen not as a person, but as the embodiment of a force.
Whenever I see R.K I always wonder what she looks like under her mask. Did you first design her without her mask or has she always had it? (By design terms- not story wise, in case that isn't clear?) (:

ReplyDeleteI wonder if you realise that you actually have quite the talent for writing =o R.K. has always been one of my most favourite characters from you and even if we know little about her at the moment the way you've written her little bio already tells us that she is a character of depth.
