Story: Soul's Circus
Before he started turning into a lion, Yoska was the "strong man" sideshow. Now he's just the lion. As he is a lion, he doesn't talk very much. He is more contemplative and intelligent that he looks, and he is unusual in that he can remember lots of things (well, compared to everyone else working in the circus of course). This reflects a strong will, and is probably another reason he thinks so much; he concentrates on not forgetting the things that are important to him. Those important things might be what's keeping him from going full-lion.

ReplyDeleteJust cause. I wanted to give the impression that this world has so much weird stuff happening and everyone acts as if it's normal. So, someone in the story might answer you question with "So he can roar better" or something, as if it were obvious.
