One of Momotani Manor's first tenants, Atasuke feels so at home at the mansion that he'll put out his cigarette butts everywhere and anywhere--whether that means on the couch the tenants share in the living room, or in another tenants’ (more than likely Katashi's) food. If Atasuke has to fit a stereotype, it would be the proud, flaming gay man--well originally. Now he's just more an ass hole than anything else--a well dressed ass hole who loves to shop at high end stores. If the heterosexual neanderthal Katashi flipping the channel from Project Runway to the Super Bowl weren’t enough, Atasuke also gets headaches from his bizarre sexual relationship with Masu, a lover of S & M and pranks. Why does Atasuke, a dead-pan, sarcastic, no-nonsense fashionista regularly sleep with Masu, who acts like a child perpetually on a sugar high? Especially since Masu annoys him more than anything else? At first Atasuke may seem indifferent toward the other tenants, but his haughty behavior often contains a hint of bitterness and even cruelty. Why might Atasuke be acting this way? What has brought him to the manor and what is the life he left behind?
