Wringing his hands in the background and silently wishing everyone would just get along, Manabu is a bit of an oddball among the tenants. He's not about to stubbornly ignore the other tenants' wants and needs solely for his own or impose his personality on others. He'd rather they just argue amongst themselves. Manabu has been at the mansion some time and has learned that his striving to be a mediator or helper in all situations will get him into trouble with these roommates, so he tries to be helpful best he can--by nodding, smiling and sweat-dropping without provoking any of the the massive personalities head butting around him. A huge computer geek, he often holes up in his room to play games or rebuild his computer. But with the arrival of Katashi, Manabu seems more than willing to help and forms an unlikely alliance with the straight man--in his intensifying feud with the heterophobic Atasuke.
